2025 "The places We Remember Who We Are" Canadian Landscape Collection

Introducing the latest project by Kelsey Baker, the "2025 The Places We Remember Who We Are" collection. Inspired by the tranquil beauty of Western Canadian landscapes, these vibrant and evocative pieces not only reflect a sense of peace and awe, but of invigorating energy as well. To Kelsey immersing in nature is far more than just an escape from the city. This inspiring collection of paintings come from lived experiences. Growing up on Vancouver Island her family frequented many iconic hikes and scenic destinations. Having limited resources her parents ensured that she and her brother were able to experience the awe and wonder found all over Vancouver Island, traveling from coast to coast. Kelsey's Alberta based landscapes stem largely from her travels with her closest friend. After 22 years the two began embarking on mom only camp outs and neither was prepared for the lasting effects. Local Poet Gordon Grant framed these experiences the best in his poem Wonder Women
